Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley
Serving as role models, our volunteer mentors act as an extra social support, helping increase a child's self- esteem. Mentors teach by example the importance of giving and giving back, of staying in school, and for having respect for family, peers and community. We pair children and youth with a 1-on-1 mentor and run group mentoring programs built around positive self-image, healthy living, and an active lifestyle.
